A problem I found was the navigation, which I found to be not unique enough. I found a solution by drawing sketches and quick prototyping with post-it notes. You can still navigate through the usual hamburger-menu. But the second way is when you’re at the home screen, to swipe up, down, left or right to go to different screens. Once the user gets familiar with it, he is able to more easily navigate to his goal. This is why the app is so unique. The visuals are shown above.
I was happy that with the experience I gained with the Navigation & Structure- and Design Dialogues-courses, I learned how to implement that experience into a project. I used as much information as I could get into the project and I’m very satisfied with the end results as well. I also gave my Photoshop-skills a boost and learned a lot with working with other team members.
